One Card. 19 Films. Your introduction to the world of the Viennale, supported by Erste Bank.
With the VIENNALE DEBUT CARD, the Viennale invites young people aged 14 to 19 to discover the festival and experience the world of the Viennale. The free card entitles holders to purchase discounted tickets at € 8.50 for 19 films from the festival programme. These films have been selected together with the Vienna Directorate of Education and are particularly suitable for young audiences. The initiative offers young visitors an opportunity to discover contemporary arthouse cinema and experience the Viennale for the first time.
WHO CAN RECEIVE A VIENNALE DEBUT CARD?
- Young people aged 14 to 19
- Pupils with a valid ID, including those over 19 years of age
HOW CAN I GET A VIENNALE DEBUT CARD?
- Create a Viennale account here if you do not already have one.
- You can then register for the VIENNALE DEBUT CARD here: complete the registration form and upload a photo.
- Collect your card from 17 October onwards at Gartenbaukino upon presentation of proof of age or a valid student ID.

A dedicated VIENNALE DEBUT CARD counter will be available on 17 October.

Tickets for VIENNALE DEBUT CARD screenings at the special price of € 8.50 can be purchased online or at all Viennale box offices from the start of advance sales, once registration for the VIENNALE DEBUT CARD has been completed. Each DEBUT CARD entitles the holder to purchase one ticket per film.
